Progress and innovation constitute the basic idea of TEKAEF mediaCARD Ltd. which was founded by the Maass family in the year 2000. The successful parent company TEKAEF EDP Accessories Distributor Ltd., deals mainly with EDP accessories and its 70 employees generate an annual turnover of 30 million euros.

A picture postcard which can actually communicate moving moments was the intuition which Mr. Christian Maass couldn’t get out of his mind during a holiday trip in 1999. Furnished with a CD-ROM, holiday greetings would additionally assume a multimedial character – and the first step towards the mediaCARD was thus taken.
Prototypes were developed and the copyright in designs was registered with the Austrian Patent Office. In 2003, Mr. Heinz Brueckl with his Onlinetools Company took over the general distribution of the mediaCard. The company has been expanding since that time; and it takes great pleasure in having customers all over the world.

New ideas are constantly fed into the further development of the mediaCARD and make it both to an innovative and effective marketing instrument. As a result, the annual production volume numbers far more than one million mediaCards already. Thanks to our customers this trend is steadily increasing.
